Bryant Tse, President

Bryant is an experienced leader with a proven track record of building successful businesses.  As one of the founders in Lumenix, Bryant has been pivotal in creating one of Canada’s leading LED retrofit companies.

Prior to this, Mr. Tse was the EVP for Medisys Health Group.   During his tenure, Bryant managed 200 employees and helped grow the business to over $100 mm in an 18 month period.   This was achieved through a combination of strong organic growth and integration of multiple strategic acquisitions.

Other past achievements include being one of the founding partners of Persistence Capital Partners, a Canadian healthcare private equity firm, an investment banker for Citigroup and founder of a cardboard and fabrics recycling company.

Bryant has both his Bachelor’s (Hons.) and Master of Business Administration degrees in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Scott Delaney, Chairman, CEO

Scott D. Delaney is an experienced energy sector entrepreneur, private equity investor, CEO and operator with a track record of building innovative high growth companies and leading high performing teams through complex problems. Mr. Delaney’s broad leadership experience is distinguished by achievements rooted in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, operations and international development.

Scott D. Delaney is a Managing Partner of Stratus and is the Chairman, CEO of Lumenix where he has been instrumental in the strategic direction, operations, and financing of the firm. Mr. Delaney was previously a founder and partner of Impax Management Ltd. (“IML”), a Toronto based principal investment firm and the founder, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Impax Energy Services Ltd. (“Impax”), a diversified energy trust. During his tenure with IML Mr. Delaney was responsible for the development and execution of the energy sector investment strategy where he successfully acquired and managed several leading energy service companies. Mr. Delaney led the growth of Impax from inception to greater than C$170MM in enterprise value over a 16 month period whilst concurrently completing the IPO of Impax onto the TSX, following which he led the public company and its 300+ employees. Prior to, Mr. Delaney was an investment banker in the areas of Global Energy, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to, Mr. Delaney worked in production operations and commodity marketing for a leading global oil and gas exploration company.

Mr. Delaney serves various organizations including the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation, Monnsoon, an early stage technology investment fund, and the Institute for Study of International Development at McGill University. Mr. Delaney is a long-term member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Delaney holds an economics degree from Carleton University and a Master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where he is a Fulbright Scholar.

Keith Sirrell, CFO

Keith Sirrell is a career finance professional, having worked with some of the most prominent financial institutions in the world, in financial centers around the globe, interacting with clients across a breadth of geographies, a range of sizes and diverse sectors, and more recently has turned his wealth of experience to entrepreneurial undertakings.

Mr. Sirrell joined Lumenix in January 2015, having advised the company several months prior.  Mr. Sirrell is also a principal at Stratus where he shares responsibility for risk management, deal structuring and execution.

Prior to, Mr. Sirrell was an executive in the financial services sector with leading global investment banks, having spent more than twenty years in the financial services sector principally with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and RBC Dominion Securities in the areas of global energy, mergers and strategic advisory and risk management in New York, London, Toronto, Calgary, Hong Kong, and Sydney.  Mr. Sirrell’s last position in London at Morgan Stanley was as Head of Credit Risk Management for the Commodities Division in Europe, Middle East and Africa.  In this role, Mr. Sirrell was responsible for risk support on transactions as broad and diverse as a $500 mm debt commitment for BP plc (during the Macondo incident) and a £1 mm structured trading credit facility for First Utility (an independent energy supplier in the UK).

Mr. Sirrell has served numerous community and non-profit associations.  Mr. Sirrell holds an AB in Economics from Harvard University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Phillip Pon, COO

Phillip has a proven track record of success in industry, management consulting and private equity/venture capital.  In his current role, Phillip oversees all aspects of Operations at Lumenix.

Prior to joining; Phillip held sales, client service, or operations leadership positions at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), McKinsey & Company, Egon Zehnder, CIBC Merchant Banking, and KKR/Capstone.  He has significant experience operating or advising fast growth companies in North America, EMEA and Asia.

Specifically at GLG, Phillip was responsible for founding and/or expanding 14 offices across 11 countries in APAC & EMEA from 2005 to 2014. Concurrently, Phillip held the role of Global Co-Head of Research overseeing 400+ professionals supporting US$300MM of annual revenue.

He received his undergraduate degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Ivey Scholar) at the University of Western Ontario, and holds an MSc in Forced Migration (Exeter College) from Oxford University.

Liam Ellis, Executive VP

Liam Ellis has been integral in the design and implementation of the sales strategies, processes, marketing platform, staffing, and internal policies and procedures which govern our day-to-day operations.   Liam continues to manage our sales force and business development initiatives.

Prior to joining Lumenix, Liam was a successful corporate and commercial litigator with a focus on complex insurance disputes. Liam’s practice was founded on principled, interest-based negotiation winning him positions to work for the current President of the Ontario Bar Association and past president of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Liam is an avid team builder and certified athletics coach with the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program.

Amit Kapur, VP Finance

Amit Kapur joined Lumenix in 2017 and brings extensive experience in corporate finance, controllership, treasury, external financial reporting, risk management, budgeting, talent management and taxation. Amit has raised $25B+ of capital in dozens of transactions ranging from investment grade bank debt to complex foreign tax-driven off-balance sheet structures while managing global teams. Amit has negotiated terms and conditions on many financial instruments including commercial paper, bonds and debentures, asset-backed loans, securitized receivables, private placement notes, committed credit facilities and bank lines of credit.

Prior to joining, Amit was the CFO of a private equity sponsored specialty finance company headquartered in Canada where he helped grow the balance sheet, secure long-term financing and helped develop new lines of consumer product offerings.

Prior to that, Amit spent 10 years in a number of senior management roles at GE in both Canada, where he served as Treasurer of GE Canada, and the United States. In addition , Amit had also served as the Vice President, Treasurer at George Weston and their group of companies including Loblaws and PC Bank. Amit began his career at Ernst & Young. Amit is a CPA, CA, a CFA Charterholder and has his CPA (Illinois). In addition, Amit earned his MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and his Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University. Lastly, Amit has served and continues to serve on not-for-profit Boards.

Stephen Naor, VP Product & Engineering

Stephen Naor has over 25 years experience as an entrepreneur, business leader and Board member in technology-focused industries, with an emphasis in recent years on products and services that help companies manage their energy costs.

Prior to joining Lumenix in 2015, Stephen founded and grew 2 LED lighting companies, where he served as CEO. In both companies, Mr. Naor set the product and market direction, built the team, and raised investment capital. Stephen attracted a highly experienced Board of Directors, which included the CEO of the world’s largest optoelectronics company. He also attracted international experts as technology advisors, including 2 winners of the Nobel Prize in Physics and a winner of the US National Medal of Science.

Previously, Stephen served as CEO of an early-stage telecom software infrastructure company where he grew their revenue to 8-figures within two years.

Stephen held positions in senior and executive roles in sales, marketing, and product management at both Newbridge Networks and Nortel Networks, Stephen played key roles in product launches in highly competitive markets across North America and Asia. At Nortel, Stephen headed professional-services sales for North America, increasing services revenue by 400% and launching the business in South America. Stephen also established and built Nortel’s broadband customer care applications business in Japan.

Stephen holds a Masters of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. He is the holder of 3 patents in the areas of solid-state lighting and LCD display technology. Stephen has given talks to Canada’s federal Minister of Finance (2014) and Minister of Industry (2010) both on how best to advance Canadian technology small and medium enterprises with government-industry partnerships.

Directors
David Albertini, Regional

David has consistently been one of Lumenix’s top performers. Leveraging his previous leadership and management experience, he currently oversees sales for Eastern Canada and is the relationship manager for many key multi-residential and commercial clients.

Prior to joining Lumenix, David was a managing director of Privitta Holdings Inc., overseeing many aspects of the company's involvement in the building maintenance, marketing, and web and software development industries. Within the Privitta portfolio, Mr. Albertini also acted as the Director of Operations for TBM Service Group, where he was responsible for the development of key partnerships, design and deployment of the firms green innovations, management of 225 employees and oversaw municipal projects with the City of Toronto, TTC and Toronto Public Libraries. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University.

Ryan Hsia, Regional

Ryan Hsia led the Company’s successful expansion into British Columbia and currently oversees all aspects of our Western Canada operations including responsibility for key accounts and high profile client retrofits like the Edgewater Casino, Fairmont Pacific Rim, and the Jameson House.

Prior to, Mr. Hsia was a managing director of HCS Recycling, overseeing business development and operations. Within 2 years, the company from $10mm to $50+mm in revenue. Before joining HCS, Ryan was a founder and partner at RCT group Shanghai, an international trading firm supplying recyclable raw materials. It achieved $10mm revenue in its first year of operations.

Mr. Hsia is also ones of the founders of Midas Metals Corp., an international commodities trading firm that offers brokering and hedging services. Ryan developed strong relationships with manufacturers and understanding of global logistics from Asia and North America. Ryan has a Social Science degree from University of Western Ontario and obtained NASD 3 commodities trading certificate.

Vijay Pereira, Project Management

Vijay has managed projects in multiple industries for over 15 years. As the Director for Lumenix, he oversees the Project Management Office and manages installation projects across Canada.

Prior to joining Lumenix, Mr. Pereira designed, implemented and managed ticketing systems for MLB, NHL and MLS teams. He has successfully implemented gift card and loyalty systems for major global hotel chains. Prior to, Mr. Pereira managed construction projects for various Canadian pharmaceutical companies. Along with this, Mr. Pereira also managed the validation projects for US FDA and Health Canada’s HPFB. Prior to, Mr. Pereira has designed and managed telecom projects for Nortel Networks as well as projects for a global defence contractor.

Vijay has his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Carlton University and Project Management Certification from Humber College.
